Buying a house is a stressful experience. Buying a house in a foreign country where you don’t speak the language and you don’t know how things work is a much more stressful experience.

That’s why we like to thank homes-abroad.com for their very efficient help and professionalism. From the first contact until we bought the house, Kristian Rasmussen from their Costa Blanca office has been amazing. He replied to our emails and messages quickly and always with the information we were looking for. When we came to see the house on a Saturday, he was available. This happened twice.

Even after buying the house, Kristian was still around to help with many things. Whatever we needed for the new house, he knew someone who could do it. He has an excellent network.

We highly recommend homes-abroad.net and especially Mr. Kristian Rasmussen

I have been dealing with Homes-abroad since last year regarding the purchase of an apartment in Barcelona.

Back in December I saw a bank repossession sign on a Tower Block regarding purchase of apartments there.

I asked Trine, my direct contact from homes-abroad.com to find out some information for me regarding this and it transpired that the Tower Block was empty and the Agent there did not know when sales would take place.

Trine kept in touch with the agent constantly, to check on the situation and kept me informed at all times.

In May, Trine informed me that the apartments were being sold at auction and she contacted the agent from the bank and they advised me to bid for 2 apartments and also suggested a realistic bid.

This I did but unfortunately whilst on vacation in California I was advised that my bids had been unsuccessful. Trine from homes-abroad.com confirmed that I was the second highest bidder on both apartments and that she would keep in touch in case anyone dropped out.

Three weeks later I was informed that a bidder had indeed dropped out and I could have my choice of which of the 2 apartments I wanted.

I then paid the deposit at the end on July and have just made the balance of payment transfer so everything has worked out OK in the end.

I feel that without homes-abroad.com taking such an interest on my behalf and always keeping me in touch with the situation I would not be getting my apartment. They also recommended an excellent law firm in Barcelona with English speaking staff who have ensured the whole purchasing process has run smoothly.

I feel that anyone wishing to purchase a property in Spain would be getting the best of service if they used homes-abroad.net to assist them.

We recently took over our apartment on the Costa Blanca.

It has been a very positive experience to trade with homes-abroad.com and we have throughout the process felt safe and well informed.

We were, by their headquarters in Valencia, set in contact by Kristian Rasmussen from their Costa Blanca office and from the first phone call he was 100% focused on our wishes. We made it very clear what our priorities were and it was immediately clear that he had based the views on our wishes.

When we had decided what property we wanted to buy Kristian made arrangements for contact with the bank and lawyer, and in the period until the takeover he made sure that we had all the necessary information.

The takeover went smoothly and the home-abroad office was still helping with the purchase and delivery of furniture, change of locks, etc.
My best recommendations to anyone who wants to buy a property in Spain.

Dear homes abroad

We would like to thank you for your helpfulness during our visit to Benalmadena, where we should find an apartment. Very soon you got the feel of what we were looking for and the case was settled with our satisfaction in the days of 15 to 18 August 2017.

We are happy for our new holiday home and thank you for your help.

Yours sincerely,
Assadullah and Bjarne.

When the decision was made that it was Spain, the holiday home was to be bought in, we were fortunate enough to be recommended to www.homes-abroad.com

We were also lucky that it was Lotte Kristiansen who took care of us. Homes Abroad and in particular Lotte has been a very positive acquaintance. I can’t give Lotte enough praise. She is both friendly, knowledgeable and efficient.

I would like to recommend Homes Abroad and, in particular, Lotte Kristiansen from their Costa del Sol office, when the dreamhome is to be found in Spain.

I have just taken over my new property on Costa del Sol. I have received the best guidance and support from Lotte Kristiansen from homes-abroad.com's office in Fuengirola.

Lotte is a wonderful person whom you feel comfortable with. Over a cup of coffee this summer she got into what I was looking for and she afterwards found some good opportunities for me to see.

Lotte has been patient and helpful, and I highly recommend Lotte and homes-abroad.com to anyone who have the dream of buying a home on Costa del Sol.

In Christmas 2017 we decided to investigate the housing market in Valencia and its surroundings. Therefore, we contacted Homes-abroad.net, where we have been serviced in the best possible way. Christian Boesen was extremely confident from the first phone call and we quickly get answered our many questions and mails.

Trine Tvile was great to help us find the right properties and to organise a viewing trip for us. In Easter 2018, Christian drove us for two days to the 10-12 houses we found together. Christian was very welcoming and unpretentious, said his unreserved opinion along the way of the homes and areas, while responding to all our many questions patiently with his great insight about the area.

It's only because we with homes-abroad.com have been completely safe and in very professional hands that we in June 2018 had a purchase agreement and a dream villa. Homes-abroad.com has been crucial for us to dare to make this big decision.

It's nerve-racking to sit in the sofa in Copenhagen and negotiate properties through others in Spain, but at no time have we doubted that homes-abroad.net and Christian were on our side. Christian also managed to negotiate a very good price for us. In addition, he helped us with contact to a Danish building expert and a lawyer.

Now we have spent our first summer in our new villa and are very satisfied! Christian is still extremely helpful if we have questions or need help.

We therefore send a big thank you to Christian Boesen and the homes-abroad office in L'Eliana, which we can warmly recommend if others have a dream about buying a property in Spain.

When we decided to sell our little townhouse in Benalmádena, we contacted homes-abroad.com and got in contact with Lotte Kristiansen from their office in Fuengirola. We found very fast trust in Lotte and we therefore chose homes-abroad.net as our Spanish real estate agent.

We made a presentation for sale and visitors came regularly to look at our townhouse.

After about ½ years on their website as well as a good and well-functioning "mouth to mouth" collaboration with other colleagues, Lotte was able to sell our house. Lotte has been very helpful with various questions regarding. In addition, Lotte recommended a lawyer to whom we have also been very pleased.

All in all, a very positive experience, except that despite the decision, it was a sad feeling to deliver the key to Lotte and say goodbye to our home.

Thank you for your help and, in case of a new purchase in the future, we will definitely refer to homes-abroad.net again.

Yours sincerely,

When we made the decision to buy a home in Spain, we used Lotte Kristiansen from the Homes-abroad.com office in Fuengirola to help us.

It has been a great help to us when moving on in unknown territory. Lotte's knowledge of the area has been a great help. After having seen 15-20 different properties we finally found the right one for us.

Besides having local knowledge, local relations, being honest in her assessments, knowing the price level, she could also help with a lot of other practical things ranging from lawyer to setting up a bank account.

We therefore warmly recommend Lotte and Homes-abroad.com if you need help to find the perfect home in Spain.
