Plot of land for sale in Costitx 28.000m2 with a small ancient building in ruins. The landscape surrounding Costitx is typical of the ancient farming practises of Mallorca, a patchwork of ancient fields planted with olive groves, carob trees, fig trees, and extensive almond orchards surrounded with dry stone walls. This property comprises two separate plots of land which have become over grown with wild olive saplings. The small ancient building on the plot which is now in ruins was probably used as a shepherd’s hut during the spring then the flocks were grazing below the orchards of almond trees and the olive groves, and as a location to process the produce from the almond and olive groves at harvest time. The process of applying for a licence for a deep borehole for water a has begun. Which should enhance any application for a building licence for the plots. Though overgrown the plots are easily accessible from the village of Costitx on a paved road and just a few minutes from the central plaza of the village.
